Microsoft ha publicado un parche de seguridad especial,para corregir una vulnerabilidad crítica 0-Day en las versiones 6, 7 y 8 de los navegadores web Internet Explorer.
La vulnerabilidad crítica fue descubierta tras analizar el ataque al sitio web Council on Foreign Relations, comprometido y utilizado como fuente para alojar contenido malicioso con el que infectar los equipos de los usuarios que visitaran dicha web. La vulnerabilidad era de ‘día cero’ por lo que no tenía solución además de tener ya un exploit que la aprovechaba.
De ahí que esta actualización de seguridad 2799329 está calificada como crítica en los Windows cliente y moderada en Windows Server. La vulnerabilidad no afecta a los Internet Explorer 9 y 10 a los que Microsoft aconseja migrar en cualquier caso. Puedes descargar el parche para tu sistema y navegador en los siguientes enlaces:
